this EUR vs USD pricing confuses me. If I remember correctly, I've always been able to choose which currency I'd like to pay in since my local currency is neitherone of those. technically I'm in europe, though, but still i think i only have paid in USD...

I haven't had a problem with live since the beta testing and even then I didn't have many problems. I'm using a 3 year old macbook pro and it does great!
I support what the others say, though. try the demo, then decide!

it's most likely coming in november. remember, novation said that the launchpad has a specially made max4live step sequencer patch along with it and it's coming in the beginning of november. can't run that without max4live can you?

Hmm, interesting project. Not impossible to do. I have a few max objects popping in mind and I think it's do-able. Just need access to the Live-API objects of max4live to figure the rest out, and that won't be until it's released, but I think this tool could be very useful. I'm already imagining it....
