Hi, i have been practising warping alot and i feel like i got it now :o
Decided to try actually mix something then, so i tried Planisphere ( Part 1 ) with Planisphere (Final)
I didnt add any effects or EQ ( only have a mouse to work with )

looks like an APC40 so far, and maby a MPD18 to complement it for drum beats, seeing as i already have a keyboard.
Or save the money and get the nativeKontrol app for it which has a drum rack mode.
I have tht, and I still bought an MPD18, it's way nicer to tap out beats on and I can use it for ...

Well, the launchpad may be the ticket for you w/ a novation sl 25 IMO. You'll get many of the features of the APC, but you'll also get a keyboard as well which is nice for production.
For my setup I use the 25sl for keys and pre-programmed effects that are on my track groups and master track along ...

why not a novation remote sl mk1(has two lcd screens),usable both with reason and live.plus they're supercheap these days.
and a launchpad.
cost less combined than an apc-40.
