Performance seems to be enough for Live 8, but how about the screen? How do people manage with onl...

Your percentage CPU usage calculation is misleading. That doesn't tell you how many cores you have 'left' or 'used'. Also, most audio software will start glitching if your latency/buffer is too low and you push your CPU usage percentage too high anyways. This is because it doesn't have enough time t...

Then on that chain you'd put a Sampler, with it's key zone mapped for 16 consecutive notes, ideally beginning on a C. On the main drum rack you'd probably want to keep the 16 pads which correspond to this zone clear of other samples. (But you could layer different sounds on top of each of the 16 pi...

load a Sampler, group it as a drum rack, drag this drum rack into the 'when invoking the slice command' defaults folder.. when you now slice a clip the drum rack is filled with samplers instead of simplers.. very cool.. you can even do your own macro mapping on the default preset so the sliced drum...

Sorted! It took two days but I got a friendly e-mail response and can finally use Live again. :D .... it took... two days? You mean you were complaining that they didn't handle support during the weekends? Yeah, if they are working over they weekend I'd hope they are sorting out bugs in Live 7 :)

does the firewire solo have a built in amplifier? if it does it should have an adjustable trim (for mic volume) and perhaps a +4db switch... as well as perhaps phantom power. Otherwise you'll need to look into using the utility plugin/compressor to try and even out the vocals.
