Re: The Great BitWig Migration
After playing with it for a few hours last night finally ended up just uninstalling it. I liked the no need to route midi for arps and such, but the lack of all other routing options just drove me insane. Everytime i wanted to route something i just kept thinking how i could have done this in 2 seco...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
Personally I dont care if it acts like live or not. The only reason I bring up PDC is that it was explicitly mentioned by the devs themselves that it did not have any of the issues of other programs, when looking at that test it does I also thought some of the beta testers on kvr mentioned in passi...

Re: Chord Generator - Cthulhu
At some point strumming may come to cthulhu as well. Its come up a fair amount of times on the xfer forums and its a known feature request. id have to look back to see if steve said he was working on it or not, I believe he might be after he finishes up his next plugin Also if you havent, check the ...

Re: Ableton blog RSS
Didnt work for me. Just tried to add that link as an RSS feed in outlook and its not recognized as a valid one Also that post is from 2011, I believe it was the original post about the original RSS feed from before the site was entirely redesigned. That post just got pulled over along with all the o...

Re: Ableton blog RSS
It disappeared a while back, around the same time as the big website redesign. Thats also the time when I stopped going to the site because of that. I really didnt feel like wading through giant graphics and tiny blurbs about an article to figure out what I wanted to read, which is why I loved the R...

Re: Music apps on Ipad?
Theres an insane amount of apps out there for this Besides those mentioned a ridiculous amount of synths and effects as well: alchemy, z3ta, cassini, magellan, ituttle, isyn poly and other virsyn, thor, animoog, nave, nanologue, modular, and thats just the synths off the top of my head Sugarbytes ha...

Re: BT's BreakTweaker plugin
Seems most here have come to the same conclusion most did over at kvr. It has some nice bits here n there, I liked the small synths and how easy it was to come up with some interesting stuff there, but the actual 'microedit' stuff isnt really that versatile. I seem to come up with the same 4 same-is...

Re: Bitwig 1.0
well since 'advanced electronics' is pretty broad and ambiguous at the same time, but yes Im comfortable saying that. When you consider that every android product is linux based. I personally know that most of the set top boxes out there run linux as that is what I do for a living. The majority of t...

Re: Bitwig 1.0
As of Bitwig running on linux and then charging $400 is just a slap in the face to the open source comunity. They had to use open code to write bigwig but are they going to make the source freely available? Can I alter bitwig and then sell it as my own (you are able to do this with free software) W...

Re: Integrated Jbridge support
you should get right on top of that. I just dont understand the negativity. Sure the example code is based on windows, so there is one platform ready to go, if they have mac specific questions that they dont understand or cant figure out solutions to all they have to do is contact the dev. Not sure...

Re: Integrated Jbridge support
Criticizing the publicly available example code that shows ease of integration? criticizing? i think you miss my meaning... it's Windows code... it works with a registry. Macs don't have registries. there's nothing to translate that code into. you don't move a few characters around or change the en...
