Re: Better Metering, RMS, Peak, Pre-fader and a few other wishes

Definitely agree with some of this, but I think a few already exist, so let me know if any of the below helps. A. Yes, would be great to see pre-fx, pre-fade metering options. Currently I just use something like the Waves Dorrough meters if I really need to scope it out. 1. Maybe not as quick as a L...

Re: we have A/B groups - I want C/D groupd as well please!!!

Not sure if this will totally address your issue, but a friend of mine just developed a method to make as many crossfaders in Ableton as you like, using only native Live devices. Check it out: http://youtu.be/fErt1_BCn58

Re: Show/hide clips in session view

You pretty much can, although it's not a single button. If you hover at the top of the faders there's a handle you can drag up to make them quite a bit bigger, and likewise you can do the same for clips (piano roll or waveform) by hovering at the top of the detail view and dragging the handle all th...

Re: New user question: Routing Drum Rack sound to individual FX

If you're more the visual type, and curious about routing you Drum or Instrument Rack sends to your main returns, there's a pretty good video about it here http://youtu.be/P9hCarFzPjQ which also addresses some of the other benefits of nesting racks.

Re: Dither Options

While I'll admit that I may not have the best mastering ears in the world, I do think they're pretty decent. That said, I just did 3 exports of a track I just mastered with the 3 POW-r settings. The track is a house remix and has some pretty heavy compression and limiting on it. The differences betw...

Track Auto-Numbering with the APC

I have a small GUI improvement request that I can't imagine would be too difficult. The track auto-numbering feature is great, but when scrolling/shifting through banks on the APC, it's easy to get a little lost and I don't really want to be doing math in the middle of a performance. For example, sa...

Re: Export All Tracks Signal Path

Hmm, that could work. I'm a little hesitant just due to CPU usage as I'm usually running Traktor simultaneously (I know, I should have them running on separate computers), but it's certainly a viable possibility. Do you know if there's a way to scroll through presets? Maybe the chain selector...? De...
