if you have sampler, you can change your default when dragging on a drum rack to be sampler rather than simpler. Sampler will allow you to stream samples from disk, avoiding the memory footprint of loading 48 samples using simpler.

you should be able to just drag a sample onto one of the pads in drum rack.

you're looking for the instrument called "drum rack".
not sure if lite for Line 6 comes with drum rack, but that's what you're describing.

the theory is when you switch banks, there wont be any jumping of parameters.
in other words, knob 1 on bank a is set to 127, knob 1 on bank b is set to 64.
turn know 1 on bank a to 0, switch to bank b, the knob is still set to 64.

almost forgot - dont forget to save your preset on the mpd.dgill wrote:press a transport button on the mpd24. then, press edit. the screen should say "Set TRNS". turn the encoder and select "CTRL". from there, you can map the buttons to ableton's transport, or anything else.

press a transport button on the mpd24. then, press edit. the screen should say "Set TRNS". turn the encoder and select "CTRL". from there, you can map the buttons to ableton's transport, or anything else.
