Thanks for the links! Well i did read osme bad reviews like i said i read them before purchasing but it looks like problems i can deal with couldnt find a much better laptop for the price have a little 12 inch ibook was looking for an upgradable monster hope it all works out

Some people have problems with their firewire 410 by m-audio but i recently got one and it works fine i use it for recoridng live loops with bass and guitar gotta pick up a mic soon but i use it kind of like keller williams stuff

Maybe im not doing this correctly? I have a guitar track recorded. I want to record a second guitar riff on another track. To get the timing and everything done correctly I am using the punchin / punchout feature...it records fine on the new track but it like splits up the original track into 3 par...

Nah ibook works great but it only has 30gig internal drive and i like to keep all my music stuff on i so im going to strickly use the ibook for music and do web browsing and school work on the new one
