Re: SERIOUS ABLETON DELAY
Yea for future reference, muting plugins will still cause delay in Ableton. Also some plugins will have more delay on others. Good to know you figured out your issue. Now go make some music!

Ableton Live Performance synced to visuals
Hey guys and gal,
Just got finished editing a video of me performing one of my singles using Push and APC40, Thought you guys might enjoy! It was a lot of fun syncing my Ableton setup to my projector!
Cheers!

Re: PC to PC with crossover cable or better option
I'd also like to add that i have found crossover cables to work much better than standard midi cables when trying to sync 2 computers.
Even over wifi, sync has been more stable vs 2 midi interfaces.

Re: APC40 MK2
While the APC40 MkII does look really sexy, I think the APC Mini is the real game-changer here. Launchpads were the go-to budget controller seen everywhere, but when you can get the same thing with faders for $60 less? I foresee the Mini getting sold like crazy. The MkII will too, because it does lo...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
I'm actually in the camp that thinks Live looks great. Sure, it doesn't have all the eye candy of other DAWs, but I feel like all the information you need is right here and clearly laid out. Re: The Great BitWig Migration
You realize you just posted some things Bitwig does that Live doesn't four posts after someone else posted some things Live does Bitwig does not do? Bitwig is by that very fact not objectively better, but subjectively better. If you need or want the things Bitwig can do you will subjectively like B...

Re: After almost a year with Push
I don't know if a skilled keyboard player could easily translate their expressive playing to Push due to the unfamiliar layout of the pads. Just another instrument to learn I suppose. This may also be the reason I love the note layout so much. I started on guitar and gradually started learning keys...

Re: After almost a year with Push
I agree with H20nly. My ideal choice would have been somewhere between "It's perfect!" and "Its cool but has limitations." To be completely honest, i love my Push. It gave me a swift kick in the pants while i was having writer's-block, and it has solidified its spot in my studio. I still have a bunc...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping
EDIT 3 - Does anyone know why Zebra 2 does not auto populate the parameters? Satin, for example does (can't wait to set this guy up - it seems all its parameters are available for Push tweaking, even the three different modes :) I find this a little frustrating too, but I think I read somewhere tha...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping
I think I've solved this - I've pushed a new version of Ubermap to Github, so you can download and reinstall it (you can just run the install script again, you don't need to remove the previous version). What I've done is made it so that it adds the index (i.e. position) of each parameter in Live t...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping
Just for your information: There was a similar problem with one of the Live devices (I think it was Operator and Shaper Amount and Shaper On with both being named Shaper )), where 2 different parameters had the same name for the API. In the end we could not solve this, and had to accept to only use...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping
I'm running into a problem while trying to set up a mapping for Diva. I cant get the both ADSRs to show up in the .cfg file. I think it may be because they both have same names for the parameters (Attack 1 AND Attack 2 are both labelled "Attack"). Any help on how i can get both to show up would be g...
