Drum machine is making clicking noises
A problem I often have when using the 909 kit in Live (and other kits too) is that I can get quite a nice sound with my kick, snare and hat, and then I'll, say, add a tom and all of a sudden the kick drum will be making a clicking noise on every beat. Why is this happening? If I lower the the decay ...

Thanks a lot! I'll read those links now.
Maybe it's time to go back to synth drums again...

Re: Project at 88.2k & samples at 44.1k - resample?
I'm confused. Is there nothing to be gained from going to 88.2? If so, why is it an option?

Re: Project at 88.2k & samples at 44.1k - resample?
So there are no advantages to mastering in 88.2/24 over 44.1/24?

Re: Project at 88.2k & samples at 44.1k - resample?
for the best possible sound quality you should do the sample rate conversion with a high quality offline program (the Live user manual also recommends this). even in high quality mode, Live's sample rate conversion is optimised for real-time work, not for pristine quality. Thanks. Why use Live at 8...

Project at 88.2k & samples at 44.1k - resample?
I've recently started using Live at 88.2/24. I've noticed, however, that most of the samples I'm working with (Roland drum hits, etc.) are 44.1.
Is this in any way problematic? Should I be up-sampling the samples I have to 88.2/24 before I start working?
Cheers.

Re: How would I go about hooking up a Moog LPF
You can use an external instrument device. In the device you'll send audio to an output on the babyface which you'll connect to the input on the fooger. You'll then select an input on the babyface which you'll connect to the output of the fooger. If you want more control get yourself something like...

How would I go about hooking up a Moog LPF
I'm contemplating getting a Moogerfooger MF-101. I'd also need a new sound card as my current one is actually just a DAC. I have no experience using hardware so I need some help with conceptual understanding. Let's say I buy a Babyface. Would it go like this: Live --> Babyface --> MF-101 --> Babyfac...

Re: Live 9 Pricing
Why is Live 8 Suite Box cheaper than Live 8 Suite? You should just buy a load of those now while you can. Well, yesterday, before I even knew there was a bug, I upgraded from Live 8 to Live 8 Suite (+ Live 9 Suite) for USD194. I came on here this morning and saw there's a huge commotion and the pri...

Re: Price Changed in "Live 8 Upgrade + Free Live 9"?
Yesterday I upgraded from Live 8 to Live 8 Suite (+ free Live 9 Suite). The pricing has now changed. Will I still be entitled to the free upgrade?
