Best way to deal with Reaktor Ensembles?
I'm curious how other Reaktor users are using it along with Push/Push 2. I tried using the options.txt file in Live for a while, but that mostly presented gibberish parameters for any user ensembles. The only real option I've found is to configure the ensemble in an instrument rack in Live and save ...

Re: Monomachine M4L Patch
But even without looking at the patch maybe the only thing missing is : [midiin] connected straight to [midiout] Thanks for looking into this! :) I thought it might be something like that, but if that was missing wouldn't it also prevent the transmission of CCs to the Monomachine? Fortunately, that...

Monomachine M4L Patch
Hi all, I happened to come across this from the old Elektron-Users forum and 1) thought it might be useful to others, and 2) am hoping there might be some M4L wizards here who can understand a flaw with it. http://www.elektron-users.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_details&gid=540&am...

Re: Fold Melodic Step Sequencer/Elektron-style "trigs"?
Bumping this, as it hasn't yet been answered. I'm assuming none of these ideas are currently implemented. So...anyone know if they could be added via a third party, or how effective it might be to bug Ableton about it?

Re: Ubermap (w/experimental 9.5/Push2): Push VST param remapping
Hi everyone, I skimmed through the last year or so of this thread and didn't see anything that quite addressed my question, so forgive me if this has been covered. I recently got Reaktor 6 and have been using it in conjunction with Push 2, with the Options.txt file installed. Push does a pretty good...

Fold Melodic Step Sequencer/Elektron-style "trigs"?
So I've had my Push 2 for just under a month now, and I absolutely love it and it has completely changed my workflow. After spending the last 4 years or so working pretty exclusively with hardware, with the core of my setup controlled by various Elektron sequencers, Push 2 feels incredibly familiar ...

Re: What annoys you about Push 2?
The elektrons have a few things like this, the MD used to flash a picture of Elvis saying "the machine is alright" or something randomly on start up. Actually, I think you only see Elvis if the machine boots up after an error. I've seen him one or twice on my MDUW after some kind of SNAFU.

Re: Fixing timing issues on multitrack recording
Hey, I'm using a few Elektron boxes synced to Ableton Live along with the rest of my hardware studio. I recently worked out the sync between both worlds, so maybe I can give you some ideas through the process I went through. First off, I'm using Live as the master as it tends to play nicer as master...

Why does Ableton Live block Sysex?
Question is basically in the title. I've yet to find an actual reason for this. I can understand that Live may not use it natively, but I cannot understand why it is filtered or blocked. As someone who is coming back to Live after years building up a hardware studio, it's more than a little maddenin...

Re: What annoys you about Push 2?
Only had mine for about a week, and loving it for the most part. Biggest annoyances are the velocity/aftertouch issues (doubly annoying when using my Alpha Juno, as AT is one of the only ways I can modulate it since Live filters out sysex), but as I understand this is being addressed, I'll live with...

Re: are all the parameters of simpler mapped to push 2?
Not in front of mine at the moment, but I believe that one is missing. There's a few parameters on Live's native devices I've noticed are missing, like the looping envelope options in Operator, which is a real bummer as that's one of my favorite features of that synth. Hopefully Ableton has plans to...

Re: Complementing Push 2 with another controller
Although I've had my Push 2 for a couple days now and it covers pretty much everything I need in a Live controller, I think I'll hold on to my original Launchpad simply because the resale value is shit on it (got mine brand new on release day for $200), and it's still really useful for launching cli...

Re: Is Guitar Rig 5 worth getting just for the effects?
I have GR4. After getting into GR3, I sold most of my guitar equipment, because the software covered all my needs. GR4 added a whole bunch of rad effects, and while not much has changed with GR5, I'd like to play with their sidechaining effects if I ever upgrade. If you don't have a previous version...
