tried it out but unfortunately the 'get_current_smpte_song_time' just "translates" the relative time depending on the song position into hh.mm.ss., it's not the absolute time.

Re: Live API question: building a timer
did anyone of you find out in the meantime how to get absolute time values using the arrangement mode - independent of bpm changes? i'm desperately looking for a solution!
the current "playing_position" of a track in the arrangement mode would also be very helpful - so we could "un-warp" the track ...

hello friends!
that seems to be easy but i can not figure out how it works:
i want to read out the current playing position of a track - BUT in the arrangement mode and not in the session mode (here it works).
is this possible, how?
thanks!

midi track tempo
hello friends!
i'm working on a complex arrangement with a lot of bmp-changes...
is there any possibility to set a miditrack to an absolute time?
for example: my miditrack (which i've created in logic) is originally 120bpm and i want it to play always with 120 bpm - although the bmp master (live ...

[tow] Missing Lessons
hi,
just installed the new betas (max&live), generally works fine. but i'm missing some m4l lessons:
01-Getting started
02-Buffer Shuffler
03-Loop Shifter
04-Step Sequencer
there is nothing in the folder in live, where can get it?!
would be important to have these lessons otherwise it's much more ...
