Tracks imported from cd clipping master output

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything in the forums, so... I've imported some tracks from a cd. I look at the waveform, and there are definitely clipped waveforms. BUT, once audio has been burned onto an audio cd, it's no longer clipping , it's already clipped , ...

I think the most important factors in mastering are your monitoring environment, and your ears. It takes amazing ears and experience to be a mastering engineer.

So you just let your cat wander the streets? 8O My cats never get to go out without me holding them or having them on a leash! Seriously, there are way too many dangers (cars, freakey people, dogs, disease, accidents, etc...). The difference in life span between indoor/outdoor cats is huge. With al...

-dynamics sidechains
-grouping tracks
-the ability to nudge audio in arrangement

But I agree that I'd prefer lean and mean to overly feature-laden and bloated.

The blumlein pair is good for capturing stereo in a 360 degree sound field; it would be good if placed in the middle of a room to capture an ensemble. I wouldn't necessarily use it to close mic anything though.

It helps to drive a nice car, and know how to dress. And leave your more obnoxious friends at home. And while buying a drink for her is a good icebreaker, beware of girls looking for a "sponsor", basically, all of them! That being said, I met my last girlfriend in a club. I had no car, and...

What kind of mics do you have? I'd use a large diaphragm condenser, preferably tube, for the vox, and either a spaced pair of omni condensers near the hammers on the piano, or cardioid condensers positioned XY. If it's a grand piano, you can try putting the mics underneath, for less vocal bleed.

When this story first came out, members ( ) of his congregation were saying that the accusations were all lies, the evil liberals were making it all up. After the higher ups in the Episcopalian organization dismissed him, one lady said, "the higher up one goes, the more Satan tries to att...

Well, there's 2 conflicting issues in America, at least: 1-people are obsessed with Hollywood, mass media, and celebrities in general. This obviously is a huge factor in the unhealthy obsession, by both men and women, with an unrealistic body image, leading to self-esteem issues, neurosis, and eatin...

Like b0unce said, cats don't get lost. They have an amazing memory/sense of direction. So either it found someone who feeds it better food, or a more comfy home, or god forbid, something bad happened to it. I would never let my cat run around outside. Always indoors, period. Outside, they can get in...
