Hello,

I am looking for a midi foot controller that works like the Behringer FCB1010 but is much smaller - five footswitches (no pedals) will do.

Could you pleas recommend something to me?

Some hardware loopers have the following feature: the looper detects when an audio-signal comes in and starts recording automatically. That way you don't have the problem to hit the button/footswitch and start playing your instrument at the same time!

Sorry. In the last weeks I just used live for audi processing. That way I hear a lot without activating "play". When I first tried buffer shuffler I was very confused because I forgot about activating it ... just thought something similar might have happened to you.

I am not shure if that solves your problem but Buffer Shuffler just works when Live itself is in "play mode". Just activate the play button at the top of the Live screen and it should work.

Unfortunately (in this case) I am on Windows and can't try "sigmund~" ... (till anybody compiles it that way ... )

:D Ok: MSP-externals ("~"!) belong into the "msp-externals"-folder and their helpfiles belong into the "msp-help"-folder (and do not rename them into "*.maxhelp"). ... I guess everybody here but me knows that already ... :roll: ... but ... unfortunately M4L cr...

Thank you very much for your kind help! ... but ... I now have the files "fiddle~.mxe" and "bonk~.mxe" and I copied them to C:\Programme\Cycling '74\Max 5.0\Cycling '74\max-externals But I don't know where to find them inside M4L when I have opened Live? Or is it the wrong folder...

when I record live sounds with looper I get a cracking noise when looper switches from recording to overdub mode.

I get the same noise when I press the record/arm-button on the APC40 while recording.

Do you have any idea what causes the cracks and what I could do about it?
