Re: Help with a simple coloring clip patch
i don't understand how anyone can programme anything at all in max for live withOUT deferlow. any big device of mine has masses of them. in max alone you only need it sometimes, in m4l you need it ten times more. knowing your deferlow (putting the request to the end of the queue) will make for much...

For sure, we need to have the choice between absolute and relative modulation, because both have their advantages and drawbacks.

Re: Help with a simple coloring clip patch
I used to have the same kind of problem.
"deferlow" is definitely the first thing to try out when you have weird timing behavior and/or when you get the "changes cannot be triggered by notification" warning.

Re: Implementing cues in M4L : needing some help...
I am lacking of time by now, that's why I am getting late on my schedule, but I am really next to the first release, all I need is a Day or two off in order to finish everything, but my work has not been letting me many time lately. Looks like you've done some excellent work so far - I am in the pro...

Re: Implementing cues in M4L : needing some help...
Some news : I am still developing the device, no more problems with the live API, but I am adding new functionality, enhancing the workflow and user interface in order to get a highly efficient device. Also, the user interface will be highly customizable, to be either simple, with only 1 timing info...

Re: textual cues/markers in clips
thought I saw a thread about putting textual markers in clips, but now can't find it. maybe I was just fantasizing? using 'cue' and 'clip' or 'cue' and 'text' as search terms; anyone got a better search term, or remember the thread? thanks for any help Perhaps are you talking about the device I am ...

Re: Implementing cues in M4L : needing some help...
Hi all, I am currently optimizing the Interface to make it really easy and intuitive to use, and let me say you that it's gonna rock ! I am spending quite a lot of time on that stuff by now, since everything else (Live API, functions coding...) is fully functional. I will post a video in about a wee...

Re: Implementing cues in M4L : needing some help...
While working on the last bugs before the "official" 1.0 release in august, I decided to rewrite all the Live API part, in order to improve timing accuracy. I am now in the process of developing all the API calls that were previously in javascript into a max Patcher which handles every Liv...

Re: Implementing cues in M4L : needing some help...
A new version will be available soon : It has much more functions, manages 3 tracks at once, has a clear interface, and displays much more information. It will also be a bit trickier to learn but easier to use. http://vincent.lecrubier.free.fr/Cuesb02.png http://vincent.lecrubier.free.fr/Cuesb02%282...

Re: Frozen tracks should retain colour when coloured
I agree with the fact that it should be easy to see if a track is frozen, but there are other means than changing color. Colors often have a meaning, and overriding them destroys information for the performer/producer.martinkellogs wrote:-1
i like it the way it is.
