Re: Stop the APC 40 from auto focusing on clip that you play....
It seems like it should be straight forward for the apc 40's matrix area to follow scene changes outside the matrix. I don't know why it is necessary to use the arrow buttons to do this.

Re: Stop the APC 40 from auto focusing on clip that you play....
I have just the opposite problem, I have been trying to get the APC40 to refocus its matrix when I launch a scene change outside the matrix focus area, and haven't been able to get this to work. Is it just the track that refocuses or is it the whole matrix area?

Re: controlling grid position on apc40 remotely
Thanks for the suggestion, Isotonik is very impressive. I use the APC40 and APC20 in combination mode and would like to have the whole 5X16 grid jump to wherever I select a scene change. Is this possible?
Thanks.
Thanks.

controlling grid position on apc40 remotely
I would like to be able to control the grid position on the apc40 by sending MIDI messages remotely or from Live. It would be very useful to have the apc40 grid snap to a specific position on command, rather than laboriously scrolling into position. Is this possible?

Re: MIDI clock (slave) improvements in Live 8.2.4b1
I just tried 8.2.5 and the MIDI clock sync is working beautifully, it is very, very stable. Bravo Ableton! Now just stabalize MIDI clock send and you'll have it nailed.

remote control of external sync toggle
Is there some way to remotely toggle the external sync in Live in order to pull it in and out of sync in the middle of performance. It doesn't seem possible to assign keyboard or midi commands. There is no keyboard shortcut. Is a mouse click the only way to do this?

Re: The Not Enough Memory Issue
Are you sure about that? I can't believe the memory problem is related to an Internet connection. That's really wild! I have been having the same problem recently myself recent, I personally think it has something to do with the current Live 8 updates. Has anyone at Ableton experienced this problem?...
