Re: Anyone successfully using T-Racks with 8.1.3 and Win7 x64?

Looking around some other forums it seems you're not alone.

I have Live 8.13 and Win7 64 bit, was thinking of loading T-Racks 3 on the weekend because a friend sent me a set that he used it in and I didn't have it loaded.

Will let you know how I go.

Re: Microsoft Kill Utility Encountered a Problem

It is very likely to be a driver issue, have seen this with bad network card drivers and DOT4 printers. Update all your drivers or if that doesn't work try renaming the Ableton folder in Application Data (just to test. you can delete the one that gets re-created afterwards and rename the original to...

Re: Isolating your recorded samples

First of all why are you saving all your sets in the same project folder??? The purpose of project folders is to do exactly what you're asking, it keeps the samples organised inside the project. You need to make sure your sets are in their own folder, then you will never have to worry about that. Yo...

Re: When I click record, the sound of patch changes

Sounds like you may be recording Program Changes in your clips. Click the little "E" in the lower left corner of the clip window to open up the Envelopes section. Then look in the envelopes panel that opens up for MIDI program change automations (marked with red dot). This can happen if yo...

Re: midi controller controls only selected track

I don't have an MPK, but one of my mates does. If your using the Live 7 (updated to latest) or Live 8 there is a control surface script that will do most of that for you (in the MIDI prefs). It should map the 8 faders to the first 8 tracks' volume, and the 8 knobs will control whatever instrument or...

Re: Assigning midi/audio tracks to busses in the arrange view

Create a track group. (Page 192 of the manual) Select the tracks you wish to group and go to the Edit menu -> Group Tracks (you can also right click the track titles and do the same thing). You can also drag any other tracks you want into that group. Once grouped you can minimise them down to one tr...

Hey i really enjoyed this track.

My only criticism is that it could be a bit shorter, but that's just me, the track itself is very nice. Well done.

Re: Recording Guitar / Live Intro / Saffire Pro 24

Ok, well sounds like you need to turn down the Sapphire input volume a bit if you're peaking into the red, although a setting of 4 is pretty low already, your guitar must have quite a high output. Check the settings on you guitar too, sometime electic acoustics can sound really bad if the EQ on them...

Re: Recording Guitar / Live Intro / Saffire Pro 24

Ok, so is the VU meter on the Sapphire going into the red when you're playing? If so you need to reduce the input volume.

Also, is this electric acoustic or just electric guitar? Going through an amp first or straight in to the Sapphire?
