Two things will be the key for me to buy Ableton Suite 9: -64Bits -REAL MP3 Support!!!!!! (Not decoding to WAV when importing an mp3 file, that eats all my HDD space... Traktor Pro reads the MP3 directly without converting to WAV!!!! If I were only a Producer I wouldn't care! But c'mon as DJ convert...

Is there any major reason for us humble snow leopard users to upgrade yet? From a DAW perspective did you find any advantage? 30 euro for a new dashboard seems pretty pricey! :) I learned from my windows experience - unless theres a good reason to upgrade, wait a while till music software and hardw...

double click on every midi clip, on the below section of ableton (midi clip properties, find where program, bank and subbank are, and make sure the 3 of them are set to 'none' instead of some number

Are you sure that Program, Bank and SubBank are set to 'None'? If so, then it's a weird case!

Honestly I love Ableton but Reason 6 looks interesting, I think I'll try it! I hate still No VST Support ¬¬ but looks great anyway!

Definitely!

Why don't you just use the offline method and backup the .auz file onto a cd?... You can format your harddrive and reauthorize Live again a thousand times without having to contact Ableton, this way you just reinstall Live -> double click the .auz -> done!

Hey! I have the exact same issue, I need to bypass and reenable to get it to work!

There are some plugs that have lots of issues with Live, what I can confirm is IK Multimedia's plugs like Sonik Synth and T-Racks, those will eat most of your CPU causing audio drops, system freeze and Master Outpus delays (you hit play and the sound will start 2-3 seconds after)... so, try checking...
