Re: Ms Pinky etc...

Hey Mr Solo, good to see that you're still involved with the MsPinky system! :)

I'd be very interested in joining a MsPinky "workshop". I really like the software, but I'm not much of a max patching guru myself. My experiences with the official forum is quite poor also, nobody's home it seems..

I ...

Re: Looking for feedback. Thinking of abandoning APC 40 & Live 8

Traktor + APC40 works really well for me.. Best of both worlds ;) (And YES, you have to custom map tings to make it work for you but that's the point in a controller IMO)

Re: Regular touchscreen vs. Launchpad

touchscreen != tactile harware controller

no matter how optimistically you want to put it, a touchscreen based crossfader control will never beat a real crossfader.. the same could easily be said about knobs etc.

there are advantages in both.. in a touchscreen you can (ideally) create your own ...

Re: TAKE A LOOK !!! to end up with the audio engine debate ..

What on earth does a film postproc sound design prove of Abes's sound engine?

This thread is moot IMO, this kind of stuff is possible to do in any host..

Re: Ableton & Serato Announce...And it's FREE!

So, it would seems like The Bridge will force significant changes to both Live and Serato, and introduce a whole new world of bugs ;) And they say, fixing existing bugs has not slowed down the development of this product one bit?!

"Quality" - I don't know what to think of now.. Just give me a build ...

Re: Jitter in Max4Live crippled?

Well, you'll get a discount for the Max5 bundle if you already own M4L (and if the marketing speech rings true, your discount will be abt 150-200 euros)

Re: Have you bought M4L?

Bought it as soon as it was available (was checking the www once every hour on the launch day until finally it was there!).

Funny thing is, I won't have time to really mess with it until new years.. But just wanted to give my modest monetary support ASAP :)

J34H!

Now this is what I'm talking about! Forget about using M4L for anything predictable :) This is the shiznizz!

I'm getting a little dizzy just thinking about where this all will lead.. AbletonOS perhaps :p

Re: Overwhelmed, M4L maybe NOT for me?

Honestly, what did you expect? Max is not meant for instant-gratification make-me-the-plugin-of-my-dreams-in-1-click-or-less. The same applies for M4L.

Try getting to grips with Max first. Max comes with wonderful tutorials, that once finished from lesson 1 to the end, will give you a solid ...

Re: M4L & step sequencing with APC or Launchpad?

It seems to die on me after some time.. Live just starts giving me the beach-ball..
Could be that I abuse it too much? messing around with the tempo 0-999 and all that? Just stops outputting sound after a while then I get th' beachball..

Using the latest beta (81b8?)

Promising patch though! I wish ...
