Re: Reverb Quality
I've been looking at reverbs from Waves, AudioToys and SoftTube, but all of their demos require an ILok key.
On the other hand I've been testing the 112db Redline Reverb and it's a nice one at first glance.

Re: Reverb Quality
Live's Reverb doesn't have a natural sound to it.
Sometimes the artificiality and coloration might be nice as an effect on itself but if you just want a clear and organic reverb, Live's Reverb is probably the weakest I've heard.

Re: sonic academy, useful or damaging?
They have some useful tips. I dislike their taste in music and what they perceive to be a specific genre, but I like watching the tutorials nonetheless. There's usually a little detail you can apply in your own productions. It doesn't make sense to subscribe their service for a full year, but for 13...

Re: Reverb Quality
EIther with Eco, Mid or Hi the result isn't of good quality (unless if want an efx that actually sounds like a distorted reverb)
Any advices on a good quality reverb plugin? As good as Logic's?

Reverb Quality
Hey! Same elements (conga and tom): On Live (8.1.1) - The reverb (Reverb plugin) has distortions and coloration. (I used different presets, with similar result quality wise) On Logic 9 - The reverb (Space Design plugin) has a beautiful and natural sound. Spacious and organic. (I used different prese...

Re: Importing Audio - First beat is muffled - Help
It worked. Thanks for the help.
Right click on clip, selecting "Show Fades" and either manually deleting the fades or right click on fade curve and deselect "create fade on clip edges"

How do you turn it off?Donnie wrote:In reference to fades, if it is a loop you may want to make sure you dont have a fade placed at the beginning. Unless you have the option turned off Ableton will automatically add one.

Importing Audio - First beat is muffled - Help
Hello. I'm using Maschine to create some beats and then I export the audio and import it back to Live. For example, I'm importing a 16 beat pattern. What happens when I play it on Live is that the first beat of the audio loop, is a bit muffled, while the rest is fine. I have warp turned off. If I co...
