I think example 1 would be less cpu intensive. Perhaps you could try each example, save them, and then see which one loads up quicker as you can see the number of samples loading in bottom left corner. You could at least get an idea if example number 2 will be "loaded" once or 20 times. S...

When working on a Sampler device I was wondering which route was the most efficient one, mostly CPU-wise. Not sure if this is a bug or a limitation, but when dragging and dropping a "Preset Folder" containing HiHats onto an empty Drum Rack, the choke settings are ignored (and appear to be greyed out). Is this a limitation because Preset Folders contain Racks instead of Simpler instruments? If ...
