These warp markers. Another warp marker question!!

Hello. First, I spin drum n bass. Well I'm getting into live more and more but I'm having problems with the warp markers. Now i've read the tutorials on what they are and I do have a basic understanding of them, but for some reason every time I add a marker in a particular tune ,the "Seg. BPM&q...

Well look who's come crawling back!!!

Yep... Stopped using live for a bit (well since version 4), now though after seeing a dj perform (and preform) well using live, I'd figure it's time I get with the times then. Though I'm still not going to abandon my vinyl, I do want to incorporate life into my dj sets. All ready have the material I...

it's all about planning ahead. If you are preforming on stage.. then prepare all your files before hand. Problem solved No, problem NOT solved. :x There's still a BIG problem! How am I supposed to prepare something I play on the fly? So, let's say I record an audio clip of an acoustic guitar in tim...

I like abletons own 4 band eq. I use the hell out of that thing to sculpt my sounds. one of the very few native eqs that is very good. Sadily I cant say the same for some of their others.

As for compressors, I use the multicompressors in logic. :)

nice one jeskola. What style is that you are producing. I'm working on a drum n bass track. I need to add to mine though. For it sounds pretty dry. Oh, and for everyone who posted, also post how long you have been working/tweaking with it until the time of the snapshot. For it, it was a week and a h...

The majority of my tunes are done in midi and then bounced down. I have to go through and name every clip though (for easy management :) )

Actually you can control more than one instrument at once. Just assign two VSTI to 2 differents tracks. Arm both tracks and there you go. If you want to transpose or have a split keyboard use Live's built in MIDI device Pitch and select your range. I have done monster stacks and splits using this t...
