Re: Push 2 access drum rack send effects?

This bothered me so much I switched to Maschine MK3 (and kept a Push 1 on the side), instant bliss, everything where you expect it to be...

Am i stupid?

Hi friends, every time i work with my Push i have a moment where i get lost. Am i stupid or am i missing something? Let's say i have a drumrack loaded, and i expand it. Now i select the top right drumsound, which means in my display i'm all the way "to the right". How can i quickly "g...

Using both Live9 and Live10 with Push 2?

Hi, i have an older macbook which still runs Live 9, and a new macbook on which I am planning to install Live10. I've got both a Push 2, if i connect it to Live10 it will install a firmware upgrade on it. My question: Is the upgraded Push 2 still able to work with Live 9 after the firmware upgrade? ...

Re: Browsing Q: Back to previous location?

You're hitting on something that is really bothering me with Push workflow, i'm trying really hard but still cannot "click" with it: the breadcrumb. F.e. on my trusty old RM1x every menu-option has a fixed amount of levels you can "go in" by clicking multiple times on the button....

I think the beatmarkers cant be moved but there are nudge buttons that move by the length of global quantization. Theyre fun to play with, but maybe you already knew. the thing is i want to be able to speed up/down the playing clip just a few ms to get a nice groove going when i mix clips dj-style....

Possible to move markers with MIDI controller?

Hello,

i am looking for a way to move the Beatmakers with a MIDI controller? Is this possible? I want to find a way to pitchbend/nudge a playing clip up or down a little (just like the global tempo nudge) using a MIDI controller. I cannot find this functionality, maybe it's not there?

the thing is that most jogwheel controllers send out a note on and note off message around the CC messages when turning the wheel. If live would be able to read multiple messages for one button this would do the trick.

Well, that's a shame that rewire AND vinyl control of Torq can not happen simultaneously...although, I've tried to wrap my head around it, and I'm not even sure how that would work unless Torq could act as the Rewire Master - which isn't an option right now. Moving on, has anyone used both Torq and...

KU, that was precisely the issue I was about to raise. After looking into the TORQ thing for a while I decided to check out the IWS system as this is what M-Audio / Syncroscience have based their vinyl control system around. I can't believe I hadn't got onto it previously, Ms. Pinky's got it going ...

The "Punchiness" of a recording actually comes from having good dynamic range. (ie difference between tallest peaks and the lowest valleys/noise floor) When you use compression, the overall RMS volume level is boosted, at the expense of dynamic range. So if you use too much compression, y...
