Varied quantization of recorded audio, please help
Hi, I am experiencing varied quantization of recorded audio from external synths. I am recording a whole bunch of different things with the same random quantization results, I record 5 different takes with the same track delay compensation and settings, though when you zoom in on different recording...

Re: Max for live VS max/msp
Cool! thanks for all the info! I will have a trial on both and see where to go from there, I must mention I am a little green when it comes to max, so some of the limitations I might not notice until I start getting into the gust of it... which might be well after I have forked out the $ for the set...

Max for live VS max/msp
Hi, Is there any difference in the programs? I understand the look and work flow in max 4 live is slightly different and the software is native to live so any devices created in max 4 live can only be used in max 4 live etc. Can stand alone devices created in max/msp be used in Max 4 live and vise v...

Setting a loop within a clip with follow actions on the fly?
Hey all, Is it possible to set a loop within a group of clips with follow actions? Say for instance you have a song broken up into parts (dam you ableton and no cue points!) with follow actions on each clip, but you want to just loop a section of the clip on the fly without the clip over riding the ...

Lives driver error compensation tutorial and motu ultralite
Hello all, I have been having some issues with external gear not recording on the mark, I looked into the built in tutorial on the driver error comp, though I could not get it set up properly? I use a motu ultra lite, live asks me to send out 1 & 2 (which is the main outs right, the ones that go...

Re: machinedrum, live, and delay compensation?
just curious to see how much you would use and where do you apply it to, out or in? and what midi clock type do you suggest, song or pattern? The input has a couple of parameters I am not quite sure about either, I know I need to use clock as opposed to time code, though I am not sure about the mtc ...
