Hello all,
I was reading some posts about producers that mix in mono for there tracks to sound good on a mono sound system that are used in clubs.
I was wondering how to deal with sampled material like for example a loop taken from an old disco record, containing all kind of material like bass ...

Should I get Push for producing?
Hello all,
I'm thinking about what I should get for a while now.
I use Ableton for producing only and also I am only working in the arrangement view.
My music is mainly loop based (disco, funky house) and I like to freak around, shortening the cycles and use stutter efects and filters.

What controller
Hello all,
I switched over to Ableton not long ago and I make mostly sampled and looped based music.
I'm interested in getting a controller as I think being able to map loops to slices and get them spread over peads will help in getting more creative.
Its also nice to be able to control reverb ...

Best way to warp disco/funk to use in higher bpm project
Hello all,
Im want to use Ableton (version8) to warp and straighten up disco loops.
The original tempo's are around 100/110 bpm, the result has to be around 125 bpm.
The original material is live played and I want to straighten it up.
The source material is already cut into 2 and 4 bar loops.

Change the location of the Ableton Library
Hi everyone,
I recently bought Ableton and I'm installing it right now.
Somehow the Ableton Library is installed in the My Documents folder on my C-drive.
Can the Library be moved? I got a second harddisk with much more room I would like to put it on rather then my C-drive.
Best regards,
Sam
