I really like my 707. Or did. I still layer the kick over a 808 for a little punch. The hats are really chunky and come in handy. Overall the thing cuts through a mix pretty well.
But do you need one? I really doubt it. See, the 707 doesn't do anything. It plays back samples and it has a sequencer ...

Re: Changing Patches Live - The Solution
I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to say that it helped me REALLY clean up my set and streamline my way of playing. Being able to use the macro knobs to control my different synths (like normally) and just using my launch pad to change the racks that contain them is crazy smart. I love ...

I dont remember which channels the APC operates with, but if you set all the knobs on your BCR to channel 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 or 13 or 14 or 15 or 16 it shouldnt be a problem.

I posted to the user's help exchange but after 10 hours, only 6 views. Sheesh.
This is a tricky one for me.
Can you help a brother out?

Re: Random unmapping APC20
ARGH...
So, I think I know what is going on, but I don't know how to fix it. I can replicate it though.
On my BCR2000, one of my knobs is on channel 2, CC#7 (CH2CC7). It controls a delay or something.
Since I could not get my apc20's line fader 2 to automap, I needed to link it via midimap ...

Random unmapping APC20
Earlier my track 1 fader became unmapped. I have been messing about with another midi controller doing some mappings so I figured it was that, but when I looked through the mappings, nothing was there. The little triangular fader level marker was turned black, but no mapping.

Re: What plugin did funkagenda use for man with the red face?
Philippe Nadaud, the saxophonist, I believe he used both a real saw and a midi sax for the original track by Laurent Garnier.
Mark Night didnt use any of the original samples (or at least did not get any from Laurent). My guess is that he had someone come in and replay the parts. You can tell that ...

OMF files?
I just received an omf file (and a quicktime file as reference) for a project doing some editing and sound design for a movie. I run ableton.
