Actually repairing your library won't help here I think.. The presets you described are part of the "Live 7 Legacy" livepack, and this isn't installed in Live 8 by default. I don't know if some of us tried to mix with the new version of ableton live but I had some several issues with the new version.

Indeed, I was mixing this weekend and ableton live 8.2 crashed 6 times !
