Re: Expand Live Lite Restrictions.

IMO if you can't manage to record something decent within the confines of 8 tracks, you may as well give up. :-)

Some of the best music ever recorded was done on 8 or less tracks. The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Motown, Elvis...

Re: How to make horror core/phonk/lofi vocals ???!!!!

Use a CB radio mic to record your vocals, or an old telephone handset.

Play your vocals back through a really small speaker, from a transistor radio etc. and re-record.

Re: ARA 2 support

I just had to go look this up - never heard of it. It hasn't exactly set the world on fire, has it? It's been around for SEVEN YEARS and yet only two plugin vendors use it (one of whom co-developed it). Since its inception then, only one other plugin vendor has adopted it. Of the DAWs that support i...

Re: ASIO Volume Help

pro audio companies.......don't bother with it Well as it's an inbuilt part of Windows, they don't need to. I've got ASIO kit here that will quite happily use WASAPI, but the manufacturers never advertised the kit as being able to use it. You've not convinced me about ASIO4ALL. Being an ASIO emulat...

Re: DJ-mixing with the APC40. How to do the EQ'ing?

From briefly reading this very old thread that you've dug up, the key to getting three separate stereo ouputs from Live is to use an audio interface that has at least three stereo outputs.

The ones mentioned here only have two.

Re: ASIO Volume Help

you have some personal issue with ASIO4all There's no "personal issue".......what I'm trying to do is post some accurate information rather than MISinformation, to guide those who seem to be under the impression that ASIO4ALL is an ASIO driver (see my initial post). Seriously, do some research. Rea...

Why even bother posting?
That's exactly what I thought when I read your post.

If you need to learn how to use Live, read the manual. Don't expect others to do it for you.

Re: Upgrade or not

What's your budget? It's no good anyone recommending anything if you're not prepared to spend the money... My suggestion would be - get an Intel CPU, not AMD. A nice fast i7 preferrably. 64 bit OS with as much RAM as you can cram in. Gaming laptops are a good starting point, as they tend to be more ...
