Are the CDJs being used standalone with USB sticks, or as controllers for DJ software?
The Xone:96 does have a MIDI clock out, but it has to come from software.
Depending on the DJ software (if used), you could get a Link signal directly from that too.

Re: THIS FORUM’S FUTURE: what do you want to see? 🔥
Yes, I also think some love from Ableton would be nice i.e. make the forum more visible from the main site.
Currently, if you search 'forum' from the Knowledge Base page, it does mention this place - but unless you do that, you wouldn't know it's here.

Re: Copyright Claim for a YouTube track.
Yes, this is a thing now. It's been going on for a while.
For example I found someone who'd taken a demo track from the Native Instruments web site and uploaded it to Bandcamp for sale as their own production. They didn't even bother changing the name of it!
Also plenty of examples from producers ...

Re: Thank you Ableton: Follow Actions for Clips & Scenes
I really should get around to running all three of my standalone devices (Push, Maschine+ and MPC X SE) synced with Link. Just for sh*ts and giggles.

Re: Anthony Marinelli Push 3 stream today!
Surely it's an ongoing project - that's why they made it upgradeable.
Live itself is on version 12 now. It's over 22 years old. Did you ask the same thing when you began using Live?

Re: Samples vs VST. which is the most useful?
The answer is......it depends. As you say, samples are just recordings of things. They're fairly fixed. You can manipulate them to a certain degree (filter, chop up, add FX etc) but that's it.
On the other hand a VST plugin (or VSTi if it's an instrument) will usually have a vast amount of presets ...

Re: Playback fails when using ASIO4ALL
Yes of course when you're using an interface such as the Focusrite, the idea is to use it - for both input and output.
Connect your speakers to the output of the Focusrite. Dump ASIO4ALL.

Re: Looking for industrial packs/beats/loops/drum machine
NI's Body Mechanik, Carbon Decay, Arcane Attic, Motor Impact and others mention "industrial" in their descriptions.
