X58 is the way to go. Sandy bridge has serious PCie and SATA issues which will only be addressed in June. Go for 1600 RAM which the X58 should support. Also take a look at the sabre tooth MB from Asus. Obviously the increased bandwidth with this system will not be of any use running live 8 at 32bit!...

I use both and they work ....as good as the APC. Both have support for Live (through a max patch)so it won't work out of the box similar to APC , but once you set it up (easily done) its a no brainer. The pads have a better feel and the units have a nice feel about them when compared to the APC. Rot...
