I sold my EMX to fund some other purchase and now kind of regret it. What stuck me to this was the mobility. How does it sound when you run it through ...

Re: Live Performance Set up
You can automate clips, use dummy clips all that. 1. interface yes with 4 outs, unless you are plugging direct out from your laptop and are happy with the sound and dont intend to cue tracks , samples e.t.c 2. This is very subjective and depends on what you are most comfortable with. You can do a co...

Re: Building a new DAW - What do you guys think of this?
X58 is the way to go. Sandy bridge has serious PCie and SATA issues which will only be addressed in June. Go for 1600 RAM which the X58 should support. Also take a look at the sabre tooth MB from Asus. Obviously the increased bandwidth with this system will not be of any use running live 8 at 32bit!...

Re: install live 8 on win7 64 bit -> fail
try the latest 8.2.1 version. It works (only) OK for me. While Win 7 64 b should ideally provide stability to programs it does not for Live and this is a Live coding issue- hopefully once 64b is ready it should resolve. some plugs do crash with 8.2.1 and Win 7 64., but one change i see on 64 b is le...

Re: livid block and ohm 64
I use both and they work ....as good as the APC. Both have support for Live (through a max patch)so it won't work out of the box similar to APC , but once you set it up (easily done) its a no brainer. The pads have a better feel and the units have a nice feel about them when compared to the APC. Rot...
