happens when selecting, launching or touching anything with a mouse.
if I have a single audio clip playing and I slowly drag to select some time on the arrange area, the cpu will build to 38%

8.0.4 on a brand new mbp with 8 gig ram, osx 10.5.7 and rme fireface 400

does anyone know if you can record knob movements from the units front panel into clips in session view? the korg legacy controller does that and it's awesome. discovered this a few weeks ago, but it's been giving me smiles throughout this all-day/all-night session today:

select time anywhere (arrangement time, or in a midi clip, or in audio when warping), then double-click the zoom area... zooms to fit selection

leaving the originals where they are I would also assume it safer to leave the originals where they are, but without having a concrete reason and because they are doing no harm. But why do u do it? Now (in live 8 ) you can create folders inside the standard folders in the Device browser, so you can organise your presets better. it'd be really helpful - for example offsetting latent recordings.

in this case it doesn't matter if the timeline is only displaying original tempo, or even if the timeline is warped and stretched.
