I like to improvise multiple arrangements before editing down to the final arrangement. Having these arrangements one after the other on the timeline makes it too difficult to navigate & saving them as separate projects makes it too dificult to copy & paste from one to the other.

Unfortunately after upgrading to Live 8 Suite most of my projects originally created in Live 7 have been opened in Live 8 & saved in the new format. Live 8 has been unworkable for me. I have sent my crash logs etc to technical support but I don't see any realistic to this solution to this problem ...

Yeah I've got the same dilema. The G2M sends a lot of exagerated pich bend data. Deleting the envelope does the job but a MIDI filter would be better.
