I mean technically speaking there should be no glides at all in that video I posted, as all the drawn notes never actually overlap (also checked with a midi monitor). It seems to me the way that Analog or Tension detect overlapping notes is a little broken. They seem to consider notes that end/start...

Sure... But it still doesn't work as expected? I had the legato button on the instruments already switched 'ON', but glides still occur even if the notes do not overlap.

No worries. To be fair, Ableton should really include a non MPE Midi monitor as standard (or at least have the ability to turn MPE off). This current one isn't a true monitor if it's altering the Midi data it receives.

There's no way of turning the MPE functionality of the Midi Monitor off (I'm sure I did mention that previously ). The only option is an alternative Midi Monitor.

Yeah the stock Midi Monitor in Live 11 Standard is the MaxForLive one (you get it under special license with standard even if you don't have MaxForLive). If this is the default Max4Live Midi Monitor in Live 11 (which I'm guessing it is) then I believe it's because it's assigning each note to a different Midi channel due to MPE even though the notes received are on Midi channel 1, which is a bit annoying. There's no way of switching this functionality...

Yup... Ive allready contacted Ableton about this, and was confirmed as a bug in 6.0.10 and they are allready on the case for a fix.

I just dont want this to happen in the future and just hope this was just something which was overlooked in live 6.0.10
