Re: Iterative Record Quantization?
Think that's only after the fact... someone please correct me if I'm wrong! Will test. Meantime, I found a few Max devices that do live quantize, but all 100% to the grid. Not sure yet if it would be possible to modify them to make an iterative version. http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/3412/...

Iterative Record Quantization?
Be nice to be able to record drums tight, but not MACHINE tight, right? (What I mean is - live record MIDI in, and have it e.g. 70% quantized to 16ths - not HARD on the 16ths as seems to be the only option now). I felt sure someone must have made a Max for Live patch to do it, but I can't seem to fi...

Re: MIDI Routing updated in Live 10?
The Ask.audio link is for sending "many MIDI channels to one track".
I'm talking about the ability to send MIDI from "One track to many" ... which is impossible in Live 9.

MIDI Routing updated in Live 10?
Any updates on this? Curious to know if e.g. a Reaktor step-sequencer with multiple MIDI-outs can now talk to more than one MIDI channel at a time in Ableton.
(Live 9 merges all MIDI out of a VST into one channel, regardless what you set in the device)

Re: OSX Push2DisplayProcess CPU usage
Amazing that we have to resort to such hacks, running top of the range gear. 1988: In 20 years, we'll be making incredible new music with our minds, with neural links! 2018: Err yeah, so if you add this custom script I made, it'll turn off the 6" screen on your MIDI controller, so your audio wi...

Re: OSX Push2DisplayProcess CPU usage
Hah, OK! But will Push 3 fix it? ... not from what I've seen of the response so far from Ableton. It's like they're just waiting for Moore's law to speed up their crappy code.

Re: OSX Push2DisplayProcess CPU usage
As a device, I really love Push. But this issue relegates it to a studio novelty, not a serious bit of kit I can take out on the road. I feel totally miss-sold. Is this issue only affecting Mac users? Can any other PC users confirm? I went through the support route already on my last MBP, and was to...

Re: OSX Push2DisplayProcess CPU usage
It's really such a shame. I was getting glitches on my setup last night when running at low latency. Turn off Push and it's all fine again.
Ableton staff! Are you reading this thread? Do you have any comment? Do you have any plans to fix this?

Re: OSX Push2DisplayProcess CPU usage
I had issues using internal soundcard or M-Audio Fastrack Pro, on a high-spec 2015 13" Macbook. Ableton support said it was because it was a duo-core not quad core machine! WTF - quad core required to run a 6" screen. Now on maxed out 2016 15" MBP and the problems are not evident, tho...
