Bug, driver error compensation not working in 64 bit?
I monitor through a mixer, never through ableton so I turn on driver error compensation and I always turn every audio track from Auto to off before I record so that the driver error compensation can work. It's all fine in 32 bit, but in 64 bit my audio recordings don't match up with the midi I'm sen...

Re: MAJOR issue with audio artifacts in Live 8.1.3 and 8.1.4b
I have audio artifacts problems when I record audio and I have all of the above a CPU meter higher than 20% and I have a couple VST plugins loaded, and I have a buffer setting of 128, although this problem can occur at 256 also. I have a core i7 macbook pro and 8.2.2 and a duet. It's so maddening wo...

Re: MAJOR issue with audio artifacts in Live 8.1.3 and 8.1.4b
I am also having major artifact problems in Ableton 8.2.1. Both with the built-in sound card and my apogee duet. I also have a 2.66 i7 17 inch. I am trying to record audio from one track onto another. I can't freeze because I have a side-chain compressor. When I hit record on an audio track with the...

Re: waves plug-ins crash Live
raw, there is no way you're not getting crashes if you're actually using the plugins and opening up more than a few instantiations. How long have you had the Waves plugins installed? The good news is that Waves V8 seems to be better. i'm not sure yet but so far not one crash.

Re: Waves 7 and Ableton 8 VST crashes on OS X
David, I believe the plugins are 32-bit only, as Waves support seems to imply:

I am so confident there is a real problem.
Cheers,
Ian

Waves 7 and Ableton 8 VST crashes on OS X
There REALLY is a problem with Waves 7 plugins and Ableton 8. I own the Mercury bundle from Waves. I bought it. I have the ilok. I also own two computers, one with OS X 10.6 and one with 10.5. The crashes happen on both. I used the latest versions of everything and I only use VST plugins with Ableto...

Re: waves plug-ins crash Live
Listen everyone, there REALLY is a problem with Waves 7 plugins and Ableton Live 8. It has nothing to do with cracks. I own the Mercury bundle from Waves and a Mac Pro tower and a Macbook pro. I have tried 10.5 and 10.6 OS X. and There are random crashes with the VST version of the Waves plugins in ...

Live 8 (8.1.1) + Waves 7.0 on OS X crashes
Can I get confirmation from others that there is indeed an inordinate amount of crashing in Live 8 on OS X 10.5.8 with Waves 7 VST plugins? I am using the Mercury bundle. I really don't want this one to go unrecognized for any longer than it has to. It has made Live 8 unusable for the time being. ch...

Waves 7.0 and Ableton Live 8.x.x crashing
I just wanted to get the word out that waves 7.0 and live 8.x.x (doesn't matter which version) are causing crashes. The crashes can occur when manipulating a waves plugin parameter, or simply opening and closing a waves plugin. Lastly it can happen when one copies and pastes a waves plugin. I have o...
