I want all my new clips added to session view, to share some fundamental settings.

First and foremost I want Follow action to be activated automatically, then set to "Play again" (for looping).

Is this possible with Clips, to make a template (like for new track)?

So - is just me? No one else experiencing random start points when using Capure and Insert Scene?

I don’t understand the logic when using the Capture and Insert Scene-command in Live 12 (and maybe other versions of Live, too?).

Let’s say I have an original clip where Start is set to 1.1.1.

I then play back the clip, and press Capture and Insert Scene.

When playing back the duplicate clip ...

It is not "exactly" the same. That said I haven't paid much attention to the new stuff yet.

What are the differences?

depending on your audio interface and the drivers, you can set the volumes independently.

i have mine set to allow for system sounds through the built in speaker while Live's audio and iTunes will play via my Apogee Duet.

Usually the volume coming from Live is considerably lower than the volume when playing back sound files in Finder.

So, is there a way to make playback from the Finder lower - while still keeping the volume of Live the same level? Guess what I want is a "Finder mixer" of some sorts, where ...

Is it still not possible to do a search for files used in Arrangement (or Session for that matter)?

If I have a very long arrangement, and want to see if I used "sample X", as far as I can tell there is still no way to search for this? I have to manually search through ten minutes of arrangement to ...

Been working with the Babyface for the last year or so - rock solid.

Drivers still being further developed (they even made it iPad friendly in 2013), and even though the TotalMix software is a bit quirky, the product as a whole is very, very good.

I seem to remember this being a problem before, and I can't remember if it turned out to be the fault Altiverb makers Audioease, or if it was Ableton.

Anyways: I had Altiverb 7 installed, and have used it in a couple of projects. I just updated to 7.1.2, and now Live 9 says the plug-in can't be ...

Great improvements to the DAW - more sophisticated editing tools, more selection methods (time selection sucks), and solid track parts (like Logic).

So are you saying that if they just announced the product today, released it tomorrow, people wouldn't talk about it?

Yup! I really hope Ableton can give the arrangement window tools some consideration when they release Live 10 in, say, 2017 ... :-/
