I used 2 led bars from a car shop, which is powered by a DC adapter, with a cigarette lighter type end and then a splitter on that.
so... DC Adapter > Splitter > Lights.

You could pretty clone the 2000's touchscreen mixer doodaa with a few simple objects in the lemur.
This'd be easy to replicate.
