Re: Record Quantize and sequencer sounding double notes
Bump. I'm really hoping someone could just confirm whether this is expected behavior or not. Thanks.

Re: Record Quantize and sequencer sounding double notes
Nope, preview switch is not on. Thanks for taking a shot though. Anyone else? Is this expected behavior or no?

Record Quantize and sequencer sounding double notes
Hey All - When record quantize is turned on, and the track is set to Auto, playing in notes by hand while recording a clip is doing this weird thing where if I'm a little early relative to the grid, I'll hear the note I played, then almost instantly after I'll hear the note play again where the sequ...

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Hey All - For what it's worth (I'm on a Macbook Pro with a discrete graphics card), I've disabled automatic graphics switching in System Prefs, and Live 10 is now handling much better. Give it a shot, if you haven't already.

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Meh, just an observation. I don't care about the increased idle so much. But a set working great in 9 and breaking up in 10 is definitely a problem IMHO.jestermgee wrote: Quick, someone stop the press. This is insanely unacceptable

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Unacceptable CPU usage for me as well. I'm using a 2014 MBP, with SSD, on High Sierra. Live 9 runs my set flawlessly at 48khz at a 64 sample buffer size with my RME interface. The same set in Live 10 is idling 3-4% higher, and using just a couple of (native) plugins will induce pops and crackles, ge...

Re: Link and Sync, large latency monitoring through Live
To be clear, the issue I'm trying to solve at the moment is delayed audio, i.e Live and an app are both playing back from their own sequencers, no midi being sent, and the app is being monitored through Live. Live and the app are synced via Link.

Re: Link and Sync, large latency monitoring through Live
Because using Link disables use of the midi sync offset in preferences for the Linked app How stupid is that? Well - I get that, since Link isn't using midi sync by definition, it makes sense that the midi sync port would not be effective. But a Link-specific sync offset preference would be optimal...

Link and Sync, large latency monitoring through Live
I keep hearing about how great Link is working out for people, but I'm definitely not having the same experience. Take the example where a loop is playing in Live, and an iPad app is running something on it's own sequencer (ie Elastic Drums, DM1 etc): In a zero latency, direct-monitoring situation, ...

Re: Anyone else find the Push 2 unplayable?
I'm loving 9.7, and notice a big improvement. I've never played a Push 1 though, so can't speak to how much better or worse it is than Push 2. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Re: Velocity on Push 2: Bug???
The issue brought up by the OP sounds super frustrating. I haven't been able to reproduce it myself though. I have had some gripes about general playability/velocity control, but no issues with sudden spikes. I really, really, like the 9.7 update - Seems like general playability has been improved si...

Re: Live 9.6 resampling distortion - What's Happening!?
Thanks for the feedback. In my case though, bringing track levels down or using the utility plug in does not make any difference - the result is still a distorted waveform, just at lower volume. Then, next take, it'll record fine, without my adjusting a thing...

Live 9.6 resampling distortion - What's Happening!?
Hello All - I've only encountered this issue since updating to 9.6. It's really strange and I'm hoping you'll chime in if this has happened to you too. If I set a track to "resampling", the recorded sound will, intermittently , be distorted in a nasty, squarewaved-up sort of way. Trust me ...

Does anyone have a list of all the scales available in Live 9/Push? Just their names would be great - Thank you!

Re: 64_40 script freezing and crashing ableton
anyone using the Remote Script 64_40 , to make the apc40 into a step sequencer amoungst other things suddenly mine now crashes ableton 100%. Yeah, have you checked to make sure you are running the Live 8.2.5 version of the script? Hanz updated it to match the new Live update. [EDIT - crap, I see th...
