Re: Audio problems with Pioneer DJM-2000 setup
Thanks for the reply but this is not helping because I maxed out the buffer size in Ableton Live's preferences... nothing changed. According to a product specialist at the Pioneer Pro DJ forums I'm supposed to use 24bit mode with 48kHz. I won't have a chance to test this out until next week.

Re: Found some old tips I wrote years ago
Dude, Tarekith. Your website is friggin awesome. Lots of good information. I might consider your mastering services soon. Just out of curiosity, are you using a separate setup from your producing setup for mastering/mixing down for your own tracks and your clients' tracks? How do you have so much ti...

Audio problems with Pioneer DJM-2000 setup
Hi everyone. I just got myself a Pioneer DJM-2000. I'm very excited to use this with my Ableton Live setup and my Novation Launchpad. What's great about the DJM-2000 is that there's a built in USB sound card which allows 4 stereo channels at 16 bit or 6 stereo channels at 24 bit. My problem is that ...

Is there a better/faster/easier method? Should I just warp every track myself?trevorc wrote:sure, as long as you're making your adjustments no probs.

Re: Effects of deleting warp markers on warped audio
I have a related question. So I'm importing full songs for setting up a DJ session with electronic music. I'm using the complex pro warping method while importing. Usually there is no problem with beat syncing to the global tempo but sometimes it just doesn't work. When the warping is completely of...

Yeah, I mean screen sharing. If you don't feel comfortable giving me control of the mouse you can just listen to my instructions while I watch. Do you have Skype?

Re: Someone please help just got the launchpad
I just got the launchpad and I'm loving it so far. I just had a party I performed at with my MacBook and Launchpad and an external mixer. I had one problem with the Novation LP; it would simply not work when plugged in and also when Live was loaded. I installed the drivers from the novation site and...

Section window mirroring
I would like to see a feature that let's you create an independent window for any of the sections in Ableton as a duplicate (since you can sort of close sections to allow more viewable screen space). This suggestion is main for multi monitor use.

Re: A more convinient clip view for DJ use
Yeah I don't want to sacrifice too much clip view. It would be nice if we could undock windows from Ableton like the waveform or at least create duplicate windows so that while DJing I can have a large session view or waveform view on a second monitor.
