Re: Compared to Reaper Live feels SO bloated!

I don't think it's fair to compare Ableton to "other" "daws"....... For most, it comes down to workflow. It may be that Live does just not suit your workflow which is fine. I actually use Sonar and Rewire Ableton Live as a slave. But only sometimes. For someone working by themsel...

Re: can I merge two scenes?

I'll try removing the stop button, if I can.
I ended up running Live as a rewire slave, and recorded vocals in a host DAW.

can I merge two scenes?

I have a line that overlaps two scenes. So if I record my clip in the scene, the end get's cut.
How do I approach this in session view? Or am I stuck recording in Arrangement view?

recording over two scenes overlapping

my vocals, chorus, start on one scene but end on another. How do I record this? Without merging the two together into one scene?

I'm still having problems. Where do I do this? Why aren't drum rack touch sensitive?

My drum rack, altering midi velocities has no effect

I have created a drum rack. In the midi editor, I can alter all the midi notes, but when I change the velocities, it does not change them. Very frustrating. It works fine with all my other clips.
