I don't have one yet, but I believe this syncs to audio, not midi, which is much more solid.

Is there a way to do true Surround/Quad sound out of Live? Is the closest thing sending audio straight out? I'd love to be able to do some panning with a joystick in surround.

If Ableton for some reason added Linux, I'd hate to be in tech support. Just getting all the audio and device drivers to work under Linux, if even possible, would be a nightmare. Is the graphics library that Ableton uses even available in Linux?
