Well, is it even possible to do this? Each EQ knob in Ableton can only be assigned one MIDI controller # (1/101, etc). So, between inf -> +6 dB on the EQ knob in Ableton there are 128 (0-127) possible MIDI slots. I would need 0-63 for inf -> 0 dB whilst needing 64-127 for 0 -> +6 dB. However, this w...

Does anyone know how to get the UC-33e to have its MIDI knobs assigned to Ableton in a fashion so that 12 o'clock noon on the MIDI knob is 0dB in Ableton (on the assigned EQ)? Well, I meant like different colors within the waveform representing different elements of sound / timbre (hi-hats green, snares purple, kicks red, etc)

yeah I have everything mapped properly, it's just that when i adjust the range it doesn't change it in the upper left. It just displays the range for the Master track. Doesn't alter the range, however.

Well, to sync Ableton with my turntables. I've figured out that you need to go into the Arrangement View and select Song Tempo in the Master mixer, however, I do this and set a range. I have the tempo mapped to a knob on my MIDI unit but it still uses the 60-200 range for some reason.

Is there anywhere where I can set the project tempo range in Ableton 5?

I REALLY find the color-coded waveforms in the Serato Scratch Live to be super-helpful when mixing. Maybe it's just me, but I think that color-coded waveforms would be absolutely awesome in Ableton.
