Re: Is My PC capable of Running Ableton 10?
I've been having similar problems for the last six months with Live 10 and a Focusrite 18i8 (gen 3) on Windows 7. Tried practically everything with no success. Then finally decided to update to Windows 10. No more audio dropouts! Plus Live 10 runs much more smoothly. I'm still not entirely sure what...

Re: Korg Gadget can now export to Ableton Live
How does the export function handle reverb/delay tails. I'm assuming that it renders each part as audio complete with any effects. If there is a reverb for instance, does it just cut off at the end of the exported loop?

That's good to know. Thanks.beats me wrote:Tested the Live export with an old Gadget track I was working on and it worked great. I have Live 8 and was worried you need 9 for it to work because that would totally be an Apple-type move, but it worked fine.

Re: Korg Gadget can now export to Ableton Live
Does anyone know if the .als files it spits out are readable in Live 8, or only 9?

Re: saving drums for use in later projects
What I tend to do is simply navigate the folder where I save my projects, expand the saved .als files and drag out the parts I want. It'd be nice to get more organised and create a specific folder for re-usable stuff, but this works in a quick and dirty fashion. This is in L8 btw, don't know if this...

Re: Post your Live 9 upgrade path and price
Hmm. £87 is not an unreasonable upgrade price. But I'm satisfied with 8.

Re: Changing simpler default preset in drum rack
It needs to go in the Library/Defaults/Dropping Samples/On Drum Rack folder.

Re: Select multiple cells in drum racks
Yes, that's for mapping macros though. What I'm talking about is being able to independently select multiple cells in a drum rack. Currently, you are only able to select one at a time. Though I can see that there would be a problem in terms of which cell's contents are displayed when more than one c...

Re: Select multiple cells in drum racks
I guess not.
It's the little workflow improvements such as this that would really make me consider upgrading. See also - ability to select non-contiguous objects in the Arrangement view.

Re: Live 9 Pricing
Anyone notice how there is NO discount at all if you own Suite and want to upgrade to L9 Standard? I certainly did. Having no interest in M4L, and not using the majority of Suite components as it is, I was interested to see how the standard upgrade would be priced. Disappointingly, there is no disc...
