I have my ableton synced up with a protools setup. This way I use the PT as a recording unit, ableton is used more like an instrument along with my apc controller.
Ableton (slave) is synced op with PT through midi clock. Transport operation are done on my digi 002. this works fine.

I just tried to install abelton live on my new computer; when dragging the lve folder to my applications folder, then try to open it, it suggests tgat the live folder has been deleted... and that indicates the end of the story. Pretty boring stuff huh.
