Hi,
Anyone know if the Push 3 audio interface works on linux?
For example, if I want to use Push 3 audio interface on Ubuntu with Studio One or Bitwig, will it work?
Thanks in advance.

New license management system.
With today's license system you have two licenses out of the box and if you need more (eg because you replaced your PC, or reinstaled your windows, our did a bigger upgrade...) you need to ask for it to ableton, including write a justification and WAIT for a response (we all already had problems nea...

Re: Mixing Help
1- Go to FocalPress you can find the best books on audio, many with DVDs and audio. 2- A mag like Computer Music will also be very helpful and brings nice loops to play with. 3- On aside note if you are creative with the remix for the contest, they will need good mixing skills too, plus some bring m...

Re: Mastering- GOOD ENOUGH
To be honest, I don't understand the point of mastering DJ mixes anyway most of the time. my experience is that different tracks are mastered differently, so some seem louder than others. i usually turn the quieter ones up, which means i have to turn the whole mix down to stay below zero, so the lo...

Re: Mastering- GOOD ENOUGH
Mastering is more than a limiter  really? wow... its a good thing you chimed in then because we wouldn't want to address the OP's actual request: I just need sort of a quick fix to make the mix (mainly hip hop) louder, more full, and over-all good enough using ableton live. I do not want to b...

Re: Mastering- GOOD ENOUGH
Mastering is more than a limiter  Look at Ozone4, there is that and much more that you can do with mastering. Even more important is to make every song "feel" of the same album/set. Comparative EQ and multiband dynamics are your best options for that among a lot more things that you ...

Re: Buying new computer..what should i get??? intel i5, i7?
What about AMD? Or is that a lost cause? Dunno - 'yer pays for whats yer gets' right? ;) Personally - wouldnt touch them for studio DAW with a very long barge pole. Or for that matter anything with a dodgy non-intel chipset in it, might be fine for games, telly, web, office stuff etc, but Id rather...
