Re: RME PCIe, USB and Graphics low-latency performance in a high CPU load context with Ableton Live 12
Those reported values are in the same ballpark when compared to measurements from an app like oblique audio RTL Utility.
Interesting, in my experience they were never that close, RTL utility always gives me higher values.
Here's the measurements:
HDSPe AIO pro (32 / 64 samples)
RLT ...

Thanks for the kind words login!
I assume that by real latency you mean the round-trip latency of the interface.
You can find RTL latencies in the image posted above (from ableton preferences window) - Those reported values are in the same ballpark when compared to measurements from an app like ...

RME PCIe, USB and Graphics low-latency performance in a high CPU load context with Ableton Live 12
Disclaimer : Computer audio low-latency load testing is a context-sensitive activity, with significant variability in real-time performance - influenced by the version of the operating system and of the device drivers installed. These tests comprise a specific set of configurations that originate ...

It should be, you're right - maybe it's beyond ableton's control

Live white strip on Windows 10 - not coherent with the rest of the visual appearance
Hi everyone,
Is this white strip in W10 suppose to stick out visually like that? It's completely out of coherence with the rest of the dark design

Re: Looper "undo" via Multi-purpose button doesn't work as expected
Hi, I'm not sure my bug report submission was considered to be a bug in the end or was simply deprioritized.

Re: Looper "undo" via Multi-purpose button doesn't work as expected
Hi,
I mapped the multi-purpose button to a keystroke, midi note or using the mouse - and could reproduce the problem in all three cases.
also my sustain pedal which works in momentary mode , behaves the same way.
What do you suggest?

Demystifying Live's monitoring modes and latency compensation
Use Case for OFF monitoring mode:
When monitoring directly from an external sound source (p.ex. analog synthesizer), i.e. anything you're hearing directly from outside ableton while recording.

Looper "undo" via Multi-purpose button doesn't work as expected
This is a very old issue:
Using undo via the multipurpose button in Looper in Live 10, whether mapped to a keystroke, midi note or using the mouse, leads to the same bug.
From what I understood in the manual, it will "erase" the last recorded overdub in the Looper when I hold the button for 2 ...

Re: CPU usage mysteriously spiking high-end PC
Would have been interesting to isolate the root cause by trying each of those solutions at a time. I would bet only the GDI flag in Options.txt is relevant enough to produce those changes.

Try "-_ForceGdiBackend" in options.txt, prefererences folder. Worked for a friend of mine with a similar problem

Re: Weird audio glitches during playback/real time export
It's likely a live bug as I have an RME, so MOTU can be eliminated as the cause

I've also been having this and submitted a bug report with an attached video reproduction.
Apparently the glitch come out in the exported rendering.
