Re: making sounds sound close or far?

also since we are on this question, how do you make a sound sound like, say a flyby, or something that is moving quickly from way out ahead of you to swooshing behind you? i get panning, but some music or movie sound effects really sort of capture that illusion quite awesomely.. check this thread.....

Re: chord help using the tonys chords pack

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieuDEx313nM so this is a pretty useful tool as it has all the chords within a key min and maj, so you can stay in one key and play different chords, problem i have is that the chords in one key dont really sound that great, im trying to create neo soul style chords, s...

Re: Sub Bass in Ableton Live

EQ3's coloration of sound has been covered here many many times, so pardon those who's initial insticts would be to say RTFM as its become such a repeated topic. http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=133692 Having said that, the explaination is made quick simply and logicially in 3 senta...

very pretty. However I felt like the music and vocals were too separate - try bringing the instruments up a bit in the mix.

Re: Used Ableton and it's not Electronica

Wow, I was highly impressed by your quasi relaxed sound. It almost seems like you don't give a shit, but in actuality, you know exactly what you're doing. Which is quite a treat. This is definitely not what's posted around here (It's mostly house - which can be good in minimal doses). So yeah, I def...

Re: In Darkness the Light. Futuristic rock and roll.

I've always enjoyed your stuff. It's different, but accessible. Which basically means it's easy to listen to - but a little weird (which is good). So yeah, I didn't enjoy this one as much as your other stuff - but I definitely do enjoy your style. (This is my first post!) Although, I do lurk quite o...
