Re: Can someone explain this productpage to me?

Thanks for the good answers guys! I will look into both of them, first try the aggregate option and maybe buy a fast track if it doesn't work out the way I want !

Can someone explain this productpage to me?

It's about the M-audio firewire solo. I got it laying around somewhere, bought it a few years back. I bought it because my internal soundcard was crap. Now a new situation has arisen and I want to use it for DJing. A soundcard for DJing needs four outputs 2 for headphones and 2 for PA. Is this possi...

Removing AU from ableton (on OSX)

hi guys, I've run into a problem when trying to remove audio units from my mac & ableton. I've removed them from the library/audio/components etc...and I can't find any trace of them on my harddrive but ableton is still showing them. When I click on them it gives an error so it's clearly not there. ...

Re: Good berlin nightlife

I was actually anticipating watergate and panorama bar but I would love to visit some more undeground scenes so if anyone wants to become friends with me and give me some hidden away ...

Re: How can I get this rhytm?

I think I more or less recreated it with midi (with swing) and a delay on them to get the fast paced 16th swing. It took some trying out can't remember the settings of the delay atm...

Thanks for the help!

How can I get this rhytm?

Ok this might be a dumb question but I really need your help because I am getting too frustrated.

In the following songs the shakers seem to have a standard rhytm:

Spectrum of kick and volume and using it for sidechaining

When I look at a kick spectrum the volume of the low end is much higher then the top end freqs. As I understand this is because our ears perceive high frequencies better. Now from this spectrum perception come multiple questions: When a sample is at a certain volume say 0dB...what does this mean? Is...

How do I recognize a 60hz hum?

Hi, since yesterday one of my speakers is producing noise. It's at very low volume but it's there...sometimes a bit rumbling sometimes continuous. I didn't change anything in my setup it just appeared. My other speaker doesn't have this. If I change cables the noise is still there. One headphones it...

Problem: can't configure device params for automation (L8)

Hey guys, don't know if this is the correct forum for this so move me if it's wrong. In work in Live 8 with Sylenth1 and I can't add parameters for automation. If I record and twist some knobs in the synth it also doesn't record. Other synths have no prob so it's something specific for Live and Syle...
