Re: Live API

you could take a look at Stray's scripts for some ideas on implementaion.
ClyphX, Macrobat, etc.

There are also a few articles which describe how to access the LiveAPI using python scripts on my blog (specifically, remote scripting with the help of the Framework classes):

Re: Live API

Nice one.

I'm somewhat curious about M4L but was hoping to use raw Python rather than Max, just to play around with some ideas initially, so LiveOSC could be what I'm after.

Thanks loads.

Rolo.

LiveAPI is now considered as a part of M4L.

Live API

Hi. I'm interested in the Live API, but http://www.liveapi.org/ appears to be down. Is this still available?

Cheers.

Stuff

Is there any hope of a workaround of some sort? Maybe running some other app that can host the VSTs in a different process? Or multiple copies of Ableton or something?

I'm clutching at straws a bit methinks... must admin to not knowing much about how dual core systems work.

Yes please. Ableton really is very processor hungry compared to SX. I always hit a wall before I have enough tracks of audio on my dual core p4 3ghz.
