MIDI Map to show note numbers
In the MIDI Map, I would like the option to display Notes as data numbers rather than in musical notes notation. E.g. Note 0 rather than Note C-2. One of the things I like about Live is that it seems to have a Programmers sensibility built in. I too am a programmer. Of music data. Since I am a Produ...

Re: Firewire 800-400 causing digital noise in my monitors
Yes, exactly; it's one of these http://www.dv247.com/computer-hardware/m-audio-firewire-audiophile-4-in-6-out-firewire-interface--19660 Its essentially an external soundcard connected via the firewire port to the computer that has a range of interface options (midi, digital I/O etc.) I select its MI...

Re: Firewire 800-400 causing digital noise in my monitors
I connect via firewire using an m-audio audiophile breakout box to my mbp and have never suffered drop out or crackle.

Re: wav to CD
Usually the quality of the cd-r. Try another brand.
Could be your car cd player needs a clean? You can buy these cleaner disks that have a wee brush attached that will clean the laser head. I fixed my reader with one when it stopped reading disks.

Is the MIDI Map display configurable for Notes?
Is it possible to get Live to show note values as numbers rather than the musical notes notation? So that NOTE C-2 would be NOTE 0, NOTE C#-2 would be NOTE 1, etc., etc.. The notation confuses me; I want to deal with data points. My controller is programmed with numbers so if I'm looking at the Map ...

How can I get control of the Cue/Solo button?
Is there a way to map an external controller to the Cue/Solo switch in Live 7?
It doesn't do it in the Midi Map Mode and I don't *think* it is assigned in the Mackie Mode.
Can it be done in Live 8?
I mean the button that toggles between cue and solo modes.

Re: Can PCI card and firewire/usb interface be used together?
Both will appear in Preferences as selectable as your I/O devices but only one can be selected at a time for audio. Unlike MIDI where your various devices are available concurrently. Suggest you purchase a breakout box with as many inputs as you need, there are plenty on the market. I've had a good...

Re: Trigger Session slots with notes in a midi track
I don't seem to be able to do this in synch. If I put a trigger note on the first beat in a control clip, by the time the trigger reaches the destination clip it is to late and the clip launches out of synch. Is there a way to put a negative delay on the track (the usual track delay does not seem t...
