Re: Low latency out of the box in Live10 for Windows?
I think most users don't care about this, because they have an audio interface, so it's not a priority for Ableton. Most people who can afford to buy the software, would be able to buy an audio interface as well. Also a large percentage of users run it on Macs, which have decent latency out of the b...

Re: Why you still with Livw when we have Bitwig?
CAnt be bothered learning new software when live does everything I need and then some This. I have invested years learning Live inside out to the point I don't even think about it when I use it. To achieve this level of proficiency with another piece of software would take a lot of time, which is b...

You pay for mastering and promotion? This sounds crazy to me.
Isn't this what actually a label does? They should be using their resources to promote your stuff, otherwise wtf are they actually doing?.

Re: refurbished 2012 macbook pro
I use the basic 13 inch model from 2012 with a dual-core i5 CPU and it's fine, so the 15-inch with a literally twice as powerfull quad-core i7 should be pretty damn sweet, even for larger, heavier projects.

Re: Do Macbook Pros get hot?
Damn, so why is everybody buying these things if they get so hot? I've only used PC laptops and my impression is that only the cheap crappy ones get hot and noisy. So I can't believe a high end machine can have such issues. My (almost) 5-year-old HP Elitebook stays relatively cool even under load, b...

Crazy hot doesn't sound too good when you pay the price for a premium notebook.
Does the fan get loud as well?
That's what I'm really worried about - more heat = louder fan noise.

Do Macbook Pros get hot?
Hey guys,
I'm considering a MBP but I've read many reports that there are heating issues. Specifically for 2011 and 2012 non-retina 13" models.
Are those isolated cases or do MBP's really have such problems?
Does your MBP stay cool and quiet when running Ableton or other DAW?

Re: POLL: Maschine / MPD 18/32 / MPC 500/1000/2500
I think you should get the one that makes more sense to the way you like to do things. For me it's Maschine but to you it may be the MPC. As far as companies are concerned - my impression is that if NI are bad, Akai are 100x worse. How about when they first released the 1k and the new pad design cau...

Re: Foam under my monitors: Useful?
Honestly, I wouldn't expect much in the way of an accurate bass response from those monitors with their 4 inch woofer. That's not to say that you shouldn't try the advice you've been given but at least invest in a pair of proper monitors if you can afford it.

Not bad but it seems they just combined the LPD and LPK without adding any features. Transport controls and pitch and mod wheels would have been nice.

Re: how to slice and have hits trigger like mpc?
adjust release on each slice to the max setting and then assign all slices to the same mute group.
