I rewire Live into Pro Tools when recording live elements such as guitar performance, percussion, and vocals, because Pro Tools handles low latency monitoring much better than live IMHO, I usually end up having to manually correct for live's input and output latency in live performance elements, but...

may be a totally different situation for you, but when this happens to me I can go and delete all the analysis files (file.wav.asd) that go along with the samples used in the project, and let ableton rebuild them on the next load.

this worked for me, hope it works for you.

I haven't looked into the specifics on the iPad yet but it's definitely intriguing knowing what people are already doing with the iPhone as a music controller.

Also if you have 6 launchpads do they all map there boxes automatically or do you have to manually move them so that they dont lie on top of each other ? best :) i have 2 and yes you have to move them manually to not be on top of each other. they both default ...
